Note: Applicants from other States are NOT entitled to fee exemption or any kind of reservation and must pay both processing and examination fees. Fee once remitted is non-refundable.
APPSC FBO & ABO Selection Process
The selection process will be based on merit in the Main Written Examination, followed by a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Physical Tests.
- Screening Test (Objective Type): If the number of applicants exceeds 200 times the number of vacancies. Syllabus includes General Studies & Mental Ability, General Science, and General Mathematics (SSC Standard).
- Main Examination (Objective Type): Consists of a Qualifying Test (Essay in English/Telugu/Urdu) and two objective papers (General Studies & Mental Ability, General Science & General Mathematics).
- Physical Tests: Walking Test (qualifying) and Medical Examination by a Medical Board.
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Mandatory qualifying test.
- Final Selection: Based on marks secured in the Main Written Examination, duly observing roster points and bonus marks (for NCC certificate holders), among those who qualify in Physical Tests and CPT.
Note: Each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question. Appearance in all papers/tests is compulsory.

- Visit the official APPSC Commission's Website: https://psc.ap.gov.in/.
- If you are a first-time applicant for any APPSC post, register for One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) to obtain an OTPR ID.
- Login to the Commission's Website using your registered OTPR number and password.
- Click on the "Online Application Submission" link.
- Select the notification number 06/2025 for FBO & ABO.
- Fill in the application-specific data carefully, ensuring all details (including Local/Non-Local status, white card details) are correct, as they affect fee calculation.
