Eligibility Criteria (as on July 11, 2025)

Educational Qualification:

  • Junior Executive (E0): 2-year regular full-time Post-Graduation in Hindi with 3-year full-time regular graduation in any discipline with English as one of the subjects. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). For Junior Executive - Fire & Safety: 3-year regular Diploma or Science Graduate with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) AND Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
  • Assistant Officer (E1): Two-years full time, Post-graduate Degree in HR / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Psychology or MBA (HR) or MSW from AICTE approved / UGC recognized institute/university. Minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). For Assistant Accounts Officer: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI with 50% marks in Final examination.
  • Engineer/Officer (E2): 4 years Full time regular engineering course (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) with minimum 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). For Medical Officer: MBBS + AFIH. For Officer - Legal: 3-year law after graduation or 5-year law after 12th.
  • Senior Officer/Engineer (E3): 4 years full-time regular engineering course (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant discipline with minimum 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) AND minimum 6 years post-qualification experience. For Senior Officer - Finance/Company Secretary: Qualified CA/CS with 6 years post-qualification experience.
  • Senior Manager (E5): 4 years Full-time regular engineering course (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant discipline with minimum 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) AND minimum 12 years post-qualification experience. For Senior Manager - Human Resources/Finance: Relevant Post-graduate degree/CA with 12 years experience.

Note: All computations of age / relevant experience requirement/ qualification shall be as on **11th July 2025**. Candidates must possess the essential qualifying education certificate issued on or before this cut-off date. Qualifications acquired through Part-time/Correspondence/Distance Learning mode are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on July 11, 2025):

  • E0 Grade: Max. 25 Years
  • E1 Grade: Max. 25 Years
  • E2 Grade: Max. 29 Years
  • E3 Grade: Max. 34 Years
  • E5 Grade: Max. 42 Years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBCNCL (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years), Ex-servicemen (5 years), and candidates domiciled in J&K (5 years) as per Government Directives. Refer to the detailed notification for specific relaxations.

HRRL Selection Process

The selection process varies by salary grade:

  • For S/G E0 (Jr. Executive - Fire & Safety & Jr. Executive – Official Language Implementation):
    1. Computer Based Test (CBT) - Elimination Round (General Aptitude + Technical/Professional Knowledge).
    2. Skill Test - Elimination Round.
    3. Personal Interview - Elimination Round.
    4. Physical Endurance Test (only for Jr. Executive - Fire & Safety).
    5. Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
  • For S/G E1 & E2 (Assistant Engineer, Assistant Officer, Engineer, Officer, Accounts Officer, Medical Officer, Welfare Officer):
    1. Computer Based Test (CBT) - Elimination Round (General Aptitude + Technical/Professional Knowledge).
    2. Group Task/Group Discussion - Elimination Round (Not applicable for Medical Officer).
    3. Personal Interview - Elimination Round.
    4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
    Note: For Medical Officer, only Personal Interview will be conducted after initial scrutiny.
  • For S/G E3 & E5 (Senior Officer / Senior Engineer / Senior Manager / Company Secretary):
    1. Technical Competency Interview - Elimination Round.
    2. Behavioral Competency Interview - Elimination Round.
    3. Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
    Shortlisting for interviews will be based on relevant experience and qualification marks.

Final selection will be based on overall performance in all applicable stages, subject to medical fitness and fulfillment of all eligibility criteria.


Emoluments and Benefits

HRRL offers attractive compensation packages. The approximate Cost to Company (CTC) per annum at the minimum base level of each pay grade is:

In addition to CTC, benefits include canteen facility, laptop purchase reimbursement (except E0), Group family floater medical policy, GTLI, GPAI policy, and retirement benefits as per company policies. Selected officers will be on probation for one year.
