SVIMS Nursing Apprentice 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 30 June 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years.
- Maximum Age: 27 years.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to a maximum of 32 years)
- BC Categories: 3 years (up to a maximum of 30 years)
- PwBD Categories: 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD, up to 13 years for BC PwBD)
Educational Qualification (as on 30 June 2025 - Cut-off Date):
- The candidate should be a **Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife** or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The Minimum education requirement shall be passing of **B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing** from any recognized university.
- Candidates who have passed their B.Sc. Nursing Degree through regular mode, **within the last five years (i.e., on or after 2021)**, are eligible to apply.

SVIMS Nursing Apprentice Selection Method
The selection process for the Nursing Apprentice program at SVIMS is designed to identify promising candidates through a combination of an entrance test and an interview:
The first stage is a written entrance test based on the B.Sc. (Nursing) standard. The test will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying one mark. The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes. The venue for the examination will be SVIMS-Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women (SPMCW).
Date of Examination: 18 August 2025
Candidates who perform well in the entrance test will be shortlisted for an interview. The interview will be held at the Committee Hall, near the old Director's Office at SVIMS.
Interview Date: 20 August 2025
The final selection will be based on the combined merit obtained in both the entrance test and the interview. In case of equal marks, the candidate who is elder in age shall be preferred.
Admission to the program is subject to being found medically fit by the medical board of SVIMS. All selected candidates will undergo a medical fitness examination at SVIMS before joining. Those found not fit will be rejected.
Original certificates will be verified before allowing candidates to attend the interview. At the time of document verification, candidates must furnish the following original documents along with a self-attested copy:
- Class X/SSLC/Matriculation certificate (as proof of Date of Birth)
