Who Can Apply — Eligibility Summary
Age Limit

Trade (ITI / 1-2 year)
ITI 1-year: ₹9,600 / month; ITI 2-year: ₹10,560 / month; 10th/12th trades: ₹8,200 / month.
Selection Process
Selection is merit-based — drawn from marks obtained in the qualifying examination stipulated for each trade. In case of tie in merit, the older candidate will be given preference. No separate written test or interview is specified for most trades (refer to the official notification for any trade-specific selection).

- Complete registration, fill the application, choose work centre & trade, and submit required documents as per portal instructions.

Important Notes & Instructions

- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship earlier or have ≥1 year of post-qualification experience (for technician apprentices) are generally ineligible.
- Applications incomplete or not meeting eligibility will be rejected; no correspondence will be entertained.
- Selected candidates are subject to medical fitness and document verification. ONGC does not guarantee regular employment after apprenticeship.
