Eligibility Criteria (as on August 11, 2025)
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate/Diploma Apprentices: Candidates should possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering in any of the mentioned streams, recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Candidates should possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant & Steno trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who passed their degree/diploma in or after 2021 are eligible.
Age Limit (as on August 11, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 26 years
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PwBD etc., will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
Other Conditions:
- Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand are eligible.
- Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship or terminated their apprenticeship midway or are pursuing in other organizations or in AAI with the same qualification level, shall not be eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training/job experience for a period of 1 year or more after attaining essential qualifications are not eligible.

AAI Apprenticeship Selection Process
The selection process for AAI Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025 includes the following stages:
- Provisional Selection: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of equal percentage of marks, Date of Birth and thereafter Date of Passing will be considered for seniority.
- CGPA Conversion: CGPA will be converted into a percentage as per the norms of the concerned Educational Board/University.
- Document Verification (DV): Eligible candidates will be called for document verification at the establishment office through their registered email IDs only. Candidates must furnish original documents and submit self-attested copies and soft copies.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must be found medically fit.
- Final Selection: Made after verification of documents and medical fitness. Shortlisted candidates merely attending DV or medical examination does not guarantee selection.
Note: AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices after the training period.
