Eligibility Criteria (as on January 01, 2025)
Citizenship & Residency:
- Must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam. Proof of residency (Valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate) is required.
Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a 3 (three) year Diploma Course either in **Civil Engineering** or **Agriculture Engineering** from a Government recognized Institution.
- The Diploma Course must be a regular course. Diplomas obtained through distance education mode will not be considered.
Age Limit (as on January 01, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: Up to 45 years (5 years relaxation)
- OBC/MOBC/Tea Tribes & Adivasi Community candidates: Up to 43 years (3 years relaxation)
- Ex-Servicemen: Max 42 years (UR), further relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years relaxation (irrespective of category).
Age will be calculated based on Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet.
