Important Note on Marks: Candidates must have 55% & above (aggregate of all semester/years) in the Essential Qualification. For SC/ST/PwBD candidates applying against reserved posts, 50% & above is required. For CMA/CA candidates, a 'Pass' is sufficient.
BDL Trainee Selection Process
The selection process for BDL Trainee positions is designed to identify the best talent:
Shortlisted candidates will first appear for a Computer Based Online Test (CBOT). This test will consist of 120 questions over a duration of two hours. It will include 100 questions from your Subject/Discipline and 20 questions on General Aptitude (Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General English). The tentative date for the CBOT is **August 24, 2025**.
Qualifying Marks: 50% for all candidates. For OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies, the qualifying mark is 40%.
Candidates who qualify the Written Test will be called for an Interview in a ratio of 1:7 (maximum 1:10) in order of merit within each category. The interview carries a weightage of 15% in the final selection, while the Written Test accounts for 85%.
Final selection is subject to thorough verification of all educational, experience, category, and disability certificates with the concerned authorities. Additionally, selected candidates must be declared "Medically Fit" by a competent authority as per BDL's policy.

- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
