MP ESB Primary Teacher 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age (Male - Unreserved): 40 Years (49 for Guest Teachers)
- Maximum Age (Female - MP Domicile Unreserved): 45 Years (54 for Guest Teachers)
- Maximum Age (Male/Female - MP Govt. Corp/Board/Autonomous/Nagar Sainik): 45 Years
- Maximum Age (Male/Female - MP Reserved Categories SC/ST/OBC): 45 Years (54 for Guest Teachers)
- Maximum Age (MP Domicile PwD): 45 Years (54 for Guest Teachers)
- Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per rules (max 55 years including service period).
- Other Relaxations: As per MP Government rules for inter-caste marriage awardees, Vikram Awardees, etc. (up to 55 years in specific cases).
Educational Qualification (as on Last Date of Online Application):
- Must have passed the "Primary Teacher Eligibility Test 2020 or 2024" conducted by MP ESB with the prescribed percentage.
- AND any one of the following:
- Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education or equivalent.
- Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 45% marks AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE Regulations 2002).
- Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks AND a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.L.Ed.).
- Graduation AND a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.
- Note on Marks: A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for educational qualifications is provided for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates.
- Important: Only candidates who passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test 2020/2024 with 60% (for Unreserved/Other State) or 50% (for MP Domicile Reserved categories) are eligible to apply for the Selection Exam.
Experience Requirements (Guest Teacher):
- For age relaxation and reservation benefits as a "Guest Teacher," candidates must have a minimum of **three academic sessions** and **at least 200 days** of teaching experience as a Guest Teacher in Government Schools of Madhya Pradesh.
- Each session must have a minimum of 30 days of guest teaching experience.
MP ESB Primary Teacher Selection Process
The selection process is designed to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation of all candidates:
The selection will be primarily based on a Computer Based Online Test (CBOT). The exam will be objective type with multiple-choice questions. There will be **NO negative marking**.
Minimum Qualifying Marks in Selection Exam:
- 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS candidates.
- 50% for Other (Unreserved) candidates.
