The final ranking of the candidate shall be determined solely on the basis of the marks obtained in the **Second Tier Examination**. Minimum cut-off marks for final selection are 50 for unreserved and 45 for reserved categories.
There will be a **negative marking system** in both tiers: **1/4th mark** for each wrong answer will be deducted.
If the examination is held in multiple batches due to a large number of applications, candidate marks will be normalized using a prescribed methodology before result declaration.
