Eligibility Criteria (as on 01 January 2026)

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 40 Years

Age Relaxation:

  • General Category Female Candidates: 5 Years
  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Male Candidates (Rajasthan Domicile): 5 Years

Educational Qualification:

  • Secondary (10th Class) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
  • Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan's culture.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of the prescribed educational qualification are eligible to apply, but they must acquire the qualification before the examination date.

RSSB Laboratory Attendant Selection Process

The selection process for the Laboratory Attendant post will be based on a **Written Examination**. The exam date will be notified separately by the Board.

Question Paper Pattern:

  • Objective Type Question Paper.
  • Maximum Marks: 200
  • Number of Questions: 120
  • Duration: Two Hours.
  • All Questions carry equal marks.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The standard of the paper will be that of the Secondary Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan.
  • A 5th option 'E' will be provided for questions not attempted. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each question if none of the five options are darkened (up to 10% of questions). More than 10% unattempted will lead to disqualification.

How to Apply Online for RSSB Recruitment 2025

  1. Visit the RSSB official website: rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Click on "Recruitment Advertisement" and then "Apply online link" OR login through http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in and select "Recruitment Portal" under Citizen Apps (G2C).
  3. If you haven't paid the One Time Registration (OTR) fee, pay it first by selecting your category, disability status, and home state.
  4. Fill the online application form carefully. Information filled during OTR will be pre-filled and cannot be modified.
  5. Verify your details using Aadhaar Card, Original Certificate, or 10th Board Marksheet (Digilocker option). If unable to verify, you must appear 1.5 hours early for biometric verification at the exam center.
  6. Upload a live photo (captured during application) and ensure it meets the specified guidelines (clear, well-lit, white/light background, face covering at least 50% of the image, no sunglasses).
  7. Upload your signature (black/dark blue pen on A4 white paper, 7cm width x 2cm height, cropped) in JPEG format (20-50 KB).
  8. Submit the application form. An Application ID will be generated upon successful submission.
  9. Take a printout of the online application form for future reference.
  10. Pay the application fee online via E-Mitra kiosk, CSC, Net Banking, ATM-cum-Debit Card, or Credit Card.
