Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on March 31, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: Admissible in the upper age limit as per Government of India (GOI) guidelines for SC/ST/OBC categories.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have acquired the requisite qualification as mentioned in the table above during or after the year **2020**.
Other Conditions:
- Candidates who are currently undergoing or have already undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act elsewhere are **not eligible** to apply.
- TCIL has no obligation to provide regular employment to apprentices after the completion of the training period. Apprentices shall have no right to claim regular employment from TCIL based on this Apprenticeship Act at any point of time.
- Provisionally selected candidates will need to provide an undertaking that they will not ask for employment after completing the training.

TCIL Apprentice Selection Process
The selection process for the TCIL Apprenticeship Training Program is merit-based and involves verification of documents:
